Order Management UI
Description
It is a platform used by Electrolux sales agents to manage post-sale phone purchases on behalf of customers. It enables the sale of extended warranty contracts, consumables (such as filters or spare parts), and repair services, including fixed-price options. The application is part of a broader ecosystem of integrated tools that support post-purchase operations and customer experience.
Scale
The project consists of a large-scale enterprise web application designed to support the daily activities of multiple business functions within an international environment. The platform provides a broad set of features that adapt dynamically to different user roles and responsibilities through a flexible authorization model, ensuring that each user has access to the tools relevant to their operational needs. Integrated within a wider enterprise ecosystem, the application supports a variety of business processes while remaining highly configurable to accommodate different markets, regulatory requirements, and organizational workflows. Designed with scalability and internationalization in mind, the platform continues to evolve to support new business capabilities and expanding operational needs.
Complexity
The project involved the evolution of an existing enterprise platform to address new business requirements while improving scalability, usability, and long-term maintainability. A user-centered approach guided the redesign of key workflows, with particular attention to simplifying complex operational processes and enhancing the overall user experience. One of the main challenges was creating a highly configurable solution capable of adapting to different business scenarios and market-specific requirements without requiring extensive software changes. The platform was therefore designed to maximize flexibility, support continuous evolution, and provide a consistent experience across desktop and mobile devices.
Level of engagement
The project involved the team throughout the entire software lifecycle, from conceptual design and architectural definition (Design) to solution development and implementation (Build), and finally to operational support and continuous improvement following deployment (Run). The engagement followed an iterative and collaborative approach, with a constant focus on quality, maintainability, and user experience.
Design
The project started with an extensive analysis and design phase focused on understanding business requirements, identifying user needs, and defining an intuitive and scalable user experience. The team collaborated closely with stakeholders to establish functional requirements, reusable design patterns, and a modular architecture capable of supporting the platform's long-term evolution.
Build
The implementation phase focused on developing a modern, maintainable, and scalable web application based on contemporary frontend technologies. Particular attention was given to code quality, component reusability, testing, and collaborative development practices, ensuring a robust and reliable solution that could evolve efficiently over time.
Run
Following deployment, the platform entered a continuous improvement cycle driven by operational monitoring, user feedback, and evolving business requirements. Beatbridge provided ongoing support, performance optimization, and maintenance activities to ensure reliability, software quality, and the continuous evolution of the solution.
Incidents were rare and minor in impact — often related to collateral processes — and were resolved promptly without any significant effect on the platform’s availability or user experience.
